Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the GlowUp mobile application ("App") operated by GlowUp ("we", "our", "us"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

GlowUp is an AI-powered personal appearance analysis app that provides facial analysis scores, personalized improvement recommendations, progress tracking, AI coaching, and hairstyle try-on features. The App is designed for entertainment and self-improvement purposes.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use GlowUp. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

3. Account

You may create an account using Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen.

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Important: All analysis scores, recommendations, archetype classifications, and AI Coach responses are generated by artificial intelligence and are for informational and entertainment purposes only. They do not constitute medical, psychological, dermatological, or professional advice. AI-generated hairstyle previews are approximations and may not accurately represent your appearance. Results may vary between analyses.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

• GlowUp offers a free tier with limited features and a Premium subscription with additional features.
• Premium subscriptions are billed through Apple's in-app purchase system.
• Premium plans available:
  • Weekly: $3.99 USD per week, no free trial.
  • Annual: $49.99 USD per year, with a 3-day free trial for new subscribers. After the trial period, the annual subscription price will be charged to your Apple ID account.
• Free trial eligibility is determined by Apple. The trial is available only to new subscribers who have not previously used a free trial for this subscription.
• You can cancel your free trial at any time before it ends through your Apple ID settings to avoid being charged.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policy.
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload photos of other people without their consent
• Use the App to harass, bully, or demean others
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
• Use automated systems to access the App or circumvent rate limits
• Upload illegal, offensive, or harmful content
• Share or redistribute AI-generated analysis results in a way that harms others

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by GlowUp and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of photos you upload. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your photos for the purpose of providing our services.

8. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

9. Limitation of Liability

GlowUp is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated scores or recommendations. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from the Settings screen.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of significant changes through the App.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the state in which we operate.
